DESCRIPTION:radical – (especially of change or action) relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something; far-reaching or thorough. \nimagination – the ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful. \nsummit – top; apex; the highest point; peak; the topmost level attainable \neducator – one skilled in teaching; teacher; inclusive of all education support professionals \nAlong our radical learning journey\, our summit speakers from past years have included Dr. Bettina Love\, Dr. Gholdy Muhammad\, Princess Tirelo Motolegi\, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson\, Dr. Cornel West\, and student keynotes Priya Vulchi & Winona Guo. \nAt this year’s summit\, we aim to advance our movement for justice and equity across the state with an all-Filipinx facilitation team\, including a special east coast / west coast educator-organizer collab with Mary Joyce “MJ” Laqui and Frank Mata\, as well as Rethinking Schools Executive Director\, Dr. Cierra Kaler-Jones\, and more special guests! \nThis promises to be a radically-imaginative\, participant-driven\, liberatory learning space.
