SUMMARY:Teaching Inclusively: African American History Across the Curriculum
DESCRIPTION:Continuing Professional Development for NJ Teachers \nTeaching Inclusively: African American History Across the Curriculum \nThe Amistad Curriculum serves as a model for districts across the country of what should be occurring within classrooms. The empowerment of educators to effectively infuse African American history into their curriculum is essential to its success. This experience is focused on simplifying those complexities for application. Educators are looking for ways to engage with students organically while also having fun. Modules are inclusive of all learning styles and rooted in arts-driven curriculum design\, which allows educators to experience what we are teaching them to implement. Experience is literally the best teacher\, and the modules are designed to capitalize on this important aspect of learning. \nContinuing Professional Development for NJ Teachers FINAL.docx
