The NJEA ACCESS program provided Trenton teachers with a chance to reflect at a retreat they coordinated at Martin Luther King Middle School on May 1.
About 25 participants met with NJEA ACCESS consultants who work in Trenton, including Ang Coxen, Danele Still, Katherine Clark, Carrie Ann Floyd and Dena Grushkin.
NJEA ACCESS Director Amanda Adams led the session, giving the school groups different topics to discuss as they looked back on their work during the year. The educators were engaged and involved in active discussion during the afternoon.
Most of the sections involved a chance for educators to share their thoughts, reflect on where they are and where they’re going, and to interact with their colleagues.
