ACCESS Supports teachers and staff in Camden

More than 40 educators attended a mini-Hope and Healing session at the Camden Education Association office in Voorhees on Dec. 14.

Small groups of educators rotated through sessions led by NJEA ACCESS consultant that included chair yoga with Carolyn Corbi, breath work and tapping with Dorie Tchourmanoff, and mindfulness zentangle coloring and Lego building with Linda Thomas.

At the same time, Diane Stelacio was working behind the scenes to facilitate the event.

After the rotation through the sessions, all participants gathered in the main room. Following dinner, raffle prizes were given out and members were able to relax and share. A food truck provided desserts.

The Mini Hope and Healing session was a great example of how ACCESS supports local educators.
