Event Description
This dynamic two-hour virtual workshop immerses K–12 educators in centering Afro-Latin histories and perspectives. Through collaborative activities and source analysis, participants explore ways to help students meaningfully connect the Transatlantic Human Trade to contemporary identity, culture, and justice across the Americas. Educators will leave empowered to design lessons that deepen understanding, challenge stereotypes, and elevate historically underrepresented voices in their classrooms.
