Join and learn how to support LGBTQ+ students while understanding laws, rights, and challenges.
Event Description
This session will provide background on the fundamentals of vocabulary and statistics related to LGBTQ+ youth, as well as an in-depth examination of NJ law related to LGBTQ+ youth and how to support our students. In addition, a section of the presentation focuses on how to address pushback from staff, administration, and the community while complying with the law.
