This workshop will provide an overview of the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education and its ongoing commitment to genocide education. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of the Armenian Genocide, including its historical context, key events, and global significance. The session will then transition to a powerful firsthand account as Susan shares her family’s personal story of survival and resilience. This moving narrative highlights the lasting impact of genocide and underscores the importance of remembrance, education, and advocacy.
