The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) announced the public release of official 2024-2025 school and district Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) Grade Reports, as required under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (P.L. 2020, c. 122). These reports are part of the Commissioner’s Program for Determining Grades and are intended to support transparency and continuous improvement in school climate and culture.

Key Requirements and Timeline
- Districts must access their official 2024-2025 HIB Grade Reports through the HIB Grades application on the NJDOE Homeroom platform.
- Districts and schools are required to post the official reports on their websites by April 29, 2026.
- District officials must review the district- and school-level HIB grades at a public board of education meeting. This review may occur after the reports are posted.
- The 2025-2026 HIB data collection window will open in May 2026, with additional NJDOE guidance forthcoming.
